Ibland när man håller på med ett mönster så drar det iväg i en riktning man inte
kunnat förutse. Kanske en längtan efter våren blandat med många bilder av
livstycken från 1700tals klänningar och en och annan schablonmålning
från hälsingland är upphovet till detta mönster.

Since the start of Långlyckan the idea has been to spread the knowledge of
stenciled patterns from decorated farmhouses of hälsingland. This pattern is not
that. I think it may be the product of looking at many photos of 18th century embroidered
bodices, another world to dive into. Let the patterns come from where they may.
